Sadie Wagoner will sing a short acoustic set during performances by her father, Mike Wagoner, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. at Stephenson Cellars, 15 S. Spokane St.
Mike Wagoner's band, Trapper Creek, along with Donna Mitchell on percussion and Sadie on guitar, will perform.
Sadie, 15, is a singer whose family has a long history in the music industry. Her mother, songwriter Tammy Wagoner, aka recording artist Jenai, wrote the song "Suds in the Bucket" for Sarah Evans. Mike has been a regional favorite singer/songwriter for decades.
Sadie is working on an album she will release under the stage name Nailah Zambrano. Nailah means "success" in Arabic, and Zambrano is her grandmother's maiden name. The Zambrano clan had a number of noted musicians, including some who played with Tommy Dorsey in the 1930s.
