MARY LYNN DAVIN BAIRD
December 24, 1936 - October 8, 2010

Mary Lynn Davin Baird passed away at her
home in Redmond, WA after a valiant 5-year battle
with Pancreatic Cancer.

Mary Lynn was born in Walla Walla, WA to
Virgil and Lucyreta Davin on December 24, 1936.
She attended schools here and graduated from Walla
Walla High School in 1954. She attended the University
of Washington where she was a member of
Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.

Mary Lynn married Larry Keefe in 1957 and
they had two sons; Jeff and Tom Keefe. In 1979,
they divorced and Mary Lynn became employed in
the Travel industry and worked for 14 years on the
Eastside. She was well known throughout the Travel
World.

In 1982, she met Carter Baird of Washington
D.C. and a decade later they were married. They resided
in Washington D.C. until her husband retired
in 1994 from the US House of Representatives. They
moved to Bellevue, WA, and since 2004 they have
resided in their current home in Redmond, WA.

She is survived by her husband Carter Baird at
the home; two sons; Jeff (Kat) Keefe of Bellevue,
Tom Keefe of Yakima; Grandsons: Alex Keefe, A. J.
Keefe, and Jake Keefe; one Brother; Dennis (Verna)
Davin of Kennewick, WA; Stepsons: Michael Baird,
Mark Baird, Brett Baird, and Dr. J. Kevin Baird. She
was preceded in death by her parents: Virgil and Lucyreta
Davin.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Blue
Mountain Memorial Gardens in College Place, WA.
On Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
Memorial contributions may be made to St.
Margaret Episcopal Church in Bellevue, WA., Evergreen
Hospice of Kirkland, WA., Fred Hutchison
Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA., or Charity of
Choice through the Herring Funeral Home.
