FOSSIL, Ore. - Helix dropped to Condon-Wheeler in a Big Sky girls volleyball match Saturday.
Condon-Wheeler swept the Grizzlies 25-22, 25-20, and 25-13.
"We had our opportunities," Helix coach Tammy Parker said. "We had too many unforced errors that cost us the first two games. We couldn't recover for game three."
Chaynne Hack led the Grizzly hitters with seven kills. Niccy Thompson added four kills and went 13-of-14 from the serving line with two aces.
The loss drops Helix to 1-5 in league, but playoff hopes are still alive. Echo and Helix are tied for third and will play that tie off if Echo loses its last league match.
The Grizzlies host Union in a non-league match at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
