ONTARIO - Mac-Hi's volleyball team continued to look for its first win of the season, falling in straight sets, 24-13, 25-23, 25-14, to Ontario on the road Saturday.

"In the first set we weren't playing like the team that we know we are," said Mac-Hi head coach Kayla Rodigheiro. "In the second set we were almost there, and in the third I thought we brought good intensity."

Jayme Freemantle led Mac-Hi with three aces, while Avery Wells added two more. Jolene Brannan notched three kills and Megan Reed had two more.

Mac-Hi now stands at 0-9 on the year overall and 0-6 in league play with a home match against Baker on Tuesday next on the schedule.
