LETTERS TO THE EDITOR - Take action to save mural

I am 11 years old. I am writing this letter in regard to the Inland Octopus toy store, the only toy store in Walla Walla, that just put up an incredible and extremely unique mural!

But the thing is, the owner did not get permission to put it up and now a group of people are threatening to do bad things to the Inland Octopus. Some people, like me, think that the result will be it shutting down. If they do then we won't have a single toy store in downtown Walla Walla. Right now I think I speak for every child in the Walla Walla Valley.

But not just children love this mural. This is a great tourist attraction and one of the most exciting things that has happened for the kids in Walla Walla in all of my 11 years. You just can't take that away. Before they put up this mural, all that was there was a plain white wall with the paint peeling off.

I don't want that in Walla Walla and I don't think anyone else does either. So please, save the mural and the toy store!
