DAYTON - Waitsburg-Prescott's soccer team continued its perfect season, running it record to 14-0 with an 11-0 win at Dayton Tuesday.
Lino Diaz led W-P with four goals and Omar Virgen and Francisco Gonzalez both notched hat tricks. Alberto Sandoval rounded out the scoring with a goal of his own.
"We were trying some new things on the field," said W-P assistant coach Bart Baxter. "Dayton is a much improved team over the last time we saw them so it was a good performance for us."
Ceasar Mungua led the team with four assists, while Kevin Ortega added three dishes, Miguel Velasco had a pair and Aldair Escalante notched one.
W-P looks to continue its unblemished season Saturday at Moses Lake Christian.
