Integrity, commitment, decisiveness, legal reasoning, insight and experience. Kris Hedine will bring all of these attributes to the position of part-time District Court judge.
Kris' experience speaks for itself. He currently serves as judge pro tem in Walla Walla District Court while remaining active in his private practice. He has had extensive experience in handling numerous cases (both jury and bench trials) throughout Eastern Washington, over the past 28 years, while trying both plaintiff and defense cases in both civil and criminal courts. He has also handled numerous appeals in the Washington state Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
He served as Walla Walla assistant city attorney for 13 years and as the city's chief prosecutor in Walla Walla Municipal Court during that time. He also currently serves as city attorney for the communities of Waitsburg and Prescott.
But Kris' experience goes beyond just the application of legal knowledge. Through his formal mediation training and bench work he has developed the judicial temperament to be compassionate, understanding and fair to all while applying that knowledge. That ability comes through the experience only Kris Hedine can bring to this position.
Please join me in electing the candidate with real-time bench experience. Elect Kris Hedine as part-time District Court judge.
