MILTON-FREEWATER - Mac-Hi suffered its eighth Greater Oregon League volleyball loss in succession here Saturday, a 25-20, 25-17, 25-10 setback to Ontario.
Joleen Brannan served 10-for-12 with three aces for the Pioneers while teammate Megan Reed served 8-for-10.
Mac-Hi had six kills in the match. Brannan, Reed, Avery Wells, Cheyenne Kessler, Meghan Kimball, and Nicole Richman had one each.
"The girls came out intense in the first two games," Mac-Hi coach Kaila Rodighiero said. "They were awesome to watch. We had some great hits.
"In the last game, we lost a little bit of intensity and it was hard for us to come back," said Rodighiero, who praised Wells and Richman for their efforts.
The Pioneers end their season at home on Tuesday with a league match against La Grande.
