Do we really know John Turner? Why did he leave the Los Angeles Police Department?
A lot of letters from his co-workers praising him. He talks of controlling the gangs here in Walla Walla (there are 80,000 gang members in Los Angeles) They hadn't controlled them when he was in law enforcement there.
If elected, is he going to bring in all of his letter-writing friends from Los Angeles to work for him here?
I think past history will tell you that people on the ground working in this area have knowledge of what is needed and works.
That is why I voted for Bill White for sheriff.
