WALLA WALLA -- The City Council officially approved a contractor for the new 28,000-square-foot police station to be built on Moore Street.
TW Clark Construction of Spokane came in as the lowest bidder at $6.1 million and was awarded the contract unanimously at the Wednesday night Council meeting with member Fred Mitchell absent.
The money for the new station will come from a 2009 voter approved bond.
