The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation will hold the annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat 3-5 p.m. Friday.
Participating businesses will open their doors to welcome ghosts and goblins, witches and superheroes. City police officers on the scene last year estimated 3,000 children and parents attended this event.
In the interest of safety, Main Street between Second Avenue and Palouse Street will be closed to vehicle movement during the event. Cars will be able to remain parked on Main Street, but they will not be able to move until 5 p.m.
