LETTERS TO THE EDITOR - Bill White has local law enforcement support

I support Bill White for sheriff of Walla Walla County. I know he is the best man for the job. He has made numerous improvements while he has been captain.

He is endorsed by the majority of Walla Walla area law enforcement officers, including Sheriff Mike Humphreys, WWPD Capt. Terry Heisey, WWPD Capt. Gary Bainter and CPPD Lt. Bob Dutton, numerous DOC officers, emergency dispatchers and other support staff from local law enforcement agencies.

He has the endorsement of the local Fraternal Order of Police Executive Board. He is endorsed by Gay Ernst, director of emergency management; Cory Hewitt, general manager of the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds; Nina Conn, retired director, Walla Walla County Emergency Medical Systems; Nancy McClenny-Walters, DUI Victims Panel, Every 15 Minute Program and DUI Task force; retired jail commander Tom McKeown; and Jim Sporleder and Kirk Jameson of Walla Walla Public Schools.

He is endorsed by local people.

This is very important to me. On Aug. 30, he was endorsed by WACOPS (Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs).

Please join me in marking your ballot for Bill White for sheriff.
