Heidi Marie Muirhead Lopez, 29, 221 Avery St., was charged Sept. 1 with first-degree trafficking in stolen property. Lopez is accused of trafficking in stolen property on July 10.

Jevon U. Brinkley, 27, 1511 Walla Walla Ave., was charged Aug. 27 with violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. Brinkley is accused of unlawfully possessing MDMA on Nov. 28, 2009.

Tommy E. Barnes, 48, 625 N. 11th Ave., was sentenced Aug. 30 on one count each violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of methamphetamine and violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of paraphernalia. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $45.40 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 each crime lab and biological fee, 90 days in the county jail, 24 months community custody, six months chemical dependency treatment. On June 7, Barnes pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and paraphernalia Jan. 29.

Earl J. Gavaert, 34, 1105 Naches Ave., Yakima, was sentenced Aug. 30 on one count violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of methamphetamine. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 each crime lab and biological fees, 60 days in the county jail, credit for 57 days served, 12 months community custody. On Aug. 16, Gavaert pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing methamphetamine April 4.
