WALLA WALLA -- Agreements for library services will be on the table Tuesday when the Walla Walla County Rural Library District board meets.

The board will meet at 5 p.m. at Fire District 4 Station, 2251 Howard St.

Board members will discuss the two library service agreements the district has, one with WALNET and one with the city of Walla Walla. Action may be taken on the items, said Punkey Adams, district executive director.

There will be a public comment period for up to 30 minutes at the beginning of the meeting. Each speaker will be allowed three minutes to voice their opinion and offer suggestions. Staff and trustees will not answer questions or engage in conversations during the public comment period.

There also will be a brief update on the new storefront branch library planned for the Walla Walla-College Place area. Trustees will also hear the second reading of a new rules of conduct for library patrons policy and hear reports from branch libraries.
