RICHLAND -- Walla Walla High School volleyball fell to 1-1 in league play with a 25-9, 25-8, 25-8 loss at Richland Tuesday.

"It was a disappointing loss," said Wa-Hi head coach Lori Blanc. "Mentally our girls weren't there, which was tough for us."

The Blue Devils were led by eight digs by Tianna Cummings, eight assists by Brogan Watson, five kills from Sydney Christians and five digs by Kennedy Snyder.

"We made errors that we don't usually make," Blanc said. "We didn't respond the way we expect to, but hopefully, it's something we can bounce back from."

Wa-Hi is slated to hit the court again on Saturday against Wenatchee.
