- Patrick C. Spitzer, 28, 508 S. Second Ave., was sentenced Sept. 13 on one count violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of methamphetamine. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $99.70 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $1,000 violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act fee, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 crime lab and biological fees, 60 days in the county jail, credit for 41 days served, 12 months community custody. On Aug. 31 Spitzer pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine on July 18.
- Robert W. Thompson, 24, 244 E. Poplar St., was sentenced Sept. 7 on one count second-degree burglary. The court dismissed two other counts. The sentence included restitution of $14.98, $200 in court costs, $62 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 90 days in the county jail, credit for 59 days served, 30 days converted to Department of Corrections work crew. On Aug. 23 Thompson pleaded guilty to entering and remaining unlawfully in a building other than a dwelling with intent to commit a crime against property on July 10.
