  • Tonya R. Reece, 39, 1445 Francis Ave., was sentenced Sept. 20 on one count violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act-possession of dihydrocodeinone. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $132.50 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $1,000 violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act fee, $500 drug enforcement fund, $100 biological fee, 30 days in the county jail, credit for three days served, 12 months community custody. On July 9 Reece pleaded guilty through an Alford plea.
  • Jeremiah D. Hoffman, 28, 310 Harrison St., was sentenced Sept. 20 on one count second-degree possession of stolen property. The sentence included restitution to be determined, $200 in court costs, $44 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 120 days in the county jail, 90 days converted to partial confinement and 30 days converted to Department of Corrections work crew. On Sept. 7, Hoffman pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing stolen property with a value in excess of $250. Hoffman also was sentenced on one count second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission. The court dismissed two other counts. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $45.40 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 120 days in the county jail, 90 days converted to partial confinement and 30 days converted to Department of Corrections work crew. On Sept. 7, Hoffman pleaded guilty to taking a motorized golf cart without the owner's permission on May 15.
  • Brandon W. Fisher, 24, 939 S. Third Ave., was sentenced Sept. 20 on one count second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission. The court dismissed one other count. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $105.90 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 60 days in the county jail, credit for four days served, 30 days converted to Department of Corrections work crew. On Sept. 7 Fisher pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle belonging to another without that person's permission to drive it on May 15.
  • Neil T. Hiller, 22, 1313 N. 13th Ave., was sentenced Sept. 20 on one count custodial assault. The sentence included restitution of $736.48, $200 in court costs, $155.80 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, eight months in the custody of the Department of Corrections, 12 months community custody. On Sept. 20 Hiller pleaded guilty to intentionally assaulting a correctional officer who was performing his official duties on May 20, 2009.
  • Angela Minthorn-Gilmor, 30, 28 Willow Drive, Pendlenton, was sentenced Sept. 20 on one count first-degree theft. The sentence included $200 in court costs, $92.10 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 30 days in the county jail, credit for 30 days served. On Sept. 20 Minthorn-Gilmor pleaded guilty to stealing property from Walmart with a value exceeding $1, 500 on July 28, 2008.
  • Erik Garcia-Lara, 20, 204 N. Main St., Milton-Freewater, was sentenced Sept. 21 on one count second-degree malicious mischief. The sentence included restitution of $135.40, $200 in court costs, $102.60 in sheriff fees, $500 to the crime victims compensation fund, $775 in attorney fees, $100 biological fee, 25 days in the county jail, credit for 25 days served. On Sept. 20, Garcia-Lara pleaded guilty to knowingly and maliciously causing physical damage in an amount exceeding 750 on Jan. 5.
