TOUCHET - Touchet's volleyball team is still in search of its first win of the season after falling in straight games to Garfield-Palouse at home Thursday.

Garfield-Palouse notched the victory 25-23, 25-16, 25-22, although Touchet head coach Stephanie Paulson continues to see signs of improvement in her team.

"This was the first time that you could really see our team totally coming together," Paulson said. "In a way it was our first night really putting forth a team effort, and it made for an exciting game."

Kristen Warner posted three kills and two blocks for Touchet, while Josie Sewell added six kills and a block. Taylor Jaspersen led the team with four aces.

Up next for Touchet (0-5) is a trip to Pomeroy on Tuesday.
