Saturday is World Autism Day and "Autism Speaks," a national non-profit, is encouraging businesses and residents across the world to "Light it up Blue" for autism awareness.
The Eastern Washington Autism Spectrum Disorder Association has joined with Whitman College to light the school's clock tower blue. In addition, on Saturday the association will have tables set up at Book & Game Co. at First Avenue and Main Street and Albertsons where members will give out information and free blue light bulbs to encourage local residents to light their porches up with blue.
