DAYTON - Walla Walla Valley Academy's Casey Roosma turned in a pair of first places to highlight a six-team Southeast 2B District 9 track meet here Wednesday.
Roosma won the girls 200 meters in 28.27, as well as the 100-meter hurdles in 17.93.
River View won the boys side of the meet with 278 team points, followed by Asotin at 233, St. John-Endicott/Lacrosse-Washtucna 164, WWVA 124, Burbank 90 and Dayton at 73.
On the girls side, St. J-End/L-W won with 242 points, Burbank was next with 200, River View had 162, Asotin earned 148 points, Dayton 126 and WWVA 60.
Burbank's Marriah Paxton won the girls 400-meters in 1:09.78; Burbank's Alicia Lookabill the 800 in 2:59.34; and the Coyotes' Harley McBride won the high jump with a leap of 5-feet even.
Roosma edged McBride in the 100-meter hurdles, 17.93 to McBride's 18.16.
The Burbank girls' 1,600-meter relay of Hailey Blanco, Kaylynn Hunsaker, Paxton and Shelby Wallis also finished first in 5:02.84.
For the boys, Burbank freshman Justin McBride won the 300-meter hurdles in 47.18, and WWVA's Brandon Bissellwon the triple jump at 38-0.5.
