BOARDMAN - Weston-McEwen improved its overall softball record to 6-3 here Saturday with a doubleheader sweep of Riverside, 21-0 and 24-6.
Claire Ely and Karly Graves had four hits apiece to pace a 22-hit attack in game one while Amanda Kuehn, Christan Chase and Kacie Fuhrman stroked three hits each in the nightcap for the TigerScots.
"It was fun to go down there and play the entire bench," W-M coach Jeff Griggs said. "The girls made good contact and adjusted to the pitchers they saw."
The TigerScots play a single game at Enterprise on Tuesday at 4:30.
