Ronald D. Farley, 71, of Sunnyside, Wash., and longtime Milton-Freewater resident passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 3, 2011, of an apparent heart attack. Ron was born on Nov. 20, 1939, in Powell, Wyo., the son of Harold Farley and Frances Farley-Cruthirds.
He worked for several years for Bailey/Farley Farms and later for P.G.G. in Milton-Freewater until retiring in 2008. In 2010, Ron and Marlene moved to Sunnyside to be close to daughter, Kari Miller.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Marlene of Sunnyside, Wash.; two daughters, Kari Miller and husband, Tyler of Sunnyside, Wash., and Stefanie Farley of Meridian, Idaho; one grandson, Matthew Miller of
Sunnyside, Wash.; two brothers, Lee Farley of Sun River, Ore., and Dennis Farley of The Dalles, Ore.; one sister, Fran Rushing of Walla Walla. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carolee
Farley; and one brother, Wes Farley.
