Walla Walla County Commissioners are Greg Tompkins, Perry Dozier and Gregg Loney. With all present, Monday meeting:
- newspaper: Opened bids from newspapers for printing of county legal notices. One bid received from The Times of Waitsburg for $6.58 per column inch. Action on bid set for April 18.
- housing: Approved recommendations by the Walla Walla Homeless Alliance for grants to four groups to aid low-income housing. Funds generated by fee on documents recorded by the county Auditor's Office. Grants to be made to Helpline STEP Women's Shelter, $24,000; The STAR Project, $4,500; city of Walla Walla Housing Authority, $8,800 and Blue Mountain Action Council, $6,314. Unanimous.
