WALLA WALLA - For the second time this season, Whitman College junior Conor Holton-Burke has been named Northwest Conference Student Athlete of the Week for men's tennis.

His latest award, announced earlier today, recognizes his play last weekend, when Whitman stretched its winning streak in NWC regular season matches to 76.

On Saturday in Forest Grove, Ore., Whitman rolled over Pacific 9-0 with Holton-Burke winning in straight sets at No. 1 singles.

With just one weekend left in the NWC regular season, Holton-Burke is the only player who remains undefeated in conference matches at No. 1 singles. He is 7-0 in the top spot in singles, and he and La Cava are 7-0 in the NWC at No. 1 doubles.

"Conor has gone all season in conference without a loss in singles or doubles," Northam said. "That is very impressive."
