Xplosion 12-U finishes 4-2 at Tri-Cities tourney

PASCO - The Walla Walla Xplosion 12-U finished 4-2 at the NSA Ice Breaker Fastpitch Tournament last weekend.

The Xplosion opened with a 5-4 loss to Woodinville Region Friday, then dropped again to the Oregon Blaze Saturday, 7-0.

But it proved to be their final loss of the season, and the girls bounded back for a 9-4 victory over Tigard Blast. It would be Tigard's only loss of the weekend.

On Sunday, the Xplosion improver their record again with a 13-4 beating of the Vancouver Cobras; an 18-6 win over the Raptors, then topped the Cobra Bucks 10-1 in their final game of the tournament.

The Xplosion next host the Pendleton Pride and Washington Force April 23, then return to the Tri-Cities April 30-May 1 for the Clarion Spring Breeze tournament. The Xplosion are 9-3 on the season. The Xplosion is coached by Mark Ferraro.
