PASCO - Wa-Hi tracksters joined about 2,000 participants from more than 100 schools at the 50th annual Pasco Invitational Saturday.
"We had a really good day," sadi Wa-Hi coach Eric Hisaw. "We just didn't bring home any team hardware."
Aaron Nelson had the best individual placing for the Blue Devils. He finished the 3200 meter in second in 9:20.40.
Nelson also led the Blue Devils' 4x400 relay team to second, shaving eight seconds off the school record with teammates Austin Morgan, John-Paul Wolpert and Kyle Jameson.
Wolpert finished 13th in the mile in 4:29.6.
Jake Robertson got a 12th in the javelin at 159-06.
The girls 4x400 relay team of Maggie Callan, Dominique Cox, Ashley Cornia and Kailee Davisson finished third in 4:05.75.
Madeline Jacobson took a fourth in the javelin at 121-06.
Gabby Anderson and Rachel Nelson each took a seventh place in their events.

Syndney Christensen took a ninth in shot put 36-09.50 (a lifetime best) and tenth in discus (107-11).
Davisson had a ninth place in the 400 (60.96).
"We did a really nice job today," Hisaw said. "I was really pleased with the kids' effort. We haven't had this many top ten finishers over there (Pasco Invitational) in a while. It is a good test before we take on league teams next week."
The tracksters compete against Richland at Chiawana at 3:30 Thursday in a Big Nine match.
