Darlene Ann Wolford Bline entered the gates of heaven on April 14, 2011. She passed away in Wasilla, Alaska from complication of dementia.
Darlene lived a full life that was marked college and working but was hallmarked by raising her children and being a housewife. She was an excellent cook and will be well remembered by her cinnamon rolls and homemade bread.
Darlene also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Hope Community Resources for many years inspired by her dedication to her son Greg who experiences autism.
Darlene is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Eugene Bline, DDS. She leaves her son George Bline (Diana) of Wasilla; daughter, Glori Strickler (Roger) of Big Lake; daughter Carol Bline of Ohio and son Greg Bline of Wasilla. She also leaves four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Palmer Seventh day Adventist Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in honor of Darlene to Hope Community Resources in Wasilla.
Arrangements were with Legacy Funeral Homes Cremation Services, Kehl's Palmer Chapel.
