Barbara Wolfe

Barbara Wolfe
1917 - 2011

Barbara Wolfe died at daybreak on Easter in her home in Walla Walla, she was 93. Her husband, Jim Wolfe, and his son, Larry, and Barbara's son, Jay Cook, were with her. She died peacefully and with dignity.

Barbara is also survived by her sister, Mary Thompson of Ft. Smith, Ark; and nieces, Diane Manering and Barbara Lynn Karber.

Barbara's mother, Mary "Nanny" Cornell, often said, "Barbara never met a stranger." Although she is certainly remembered for her physical beauty it is her gracious charm that made everyone feel special. Yes,
her special essence was infectious and everyone felt it.
So thanks Barbara ( mom), you are gone from this arena, but not forgotten. Always loving, Always loved.

A celebration of life will be Thursday, April 28, 2011, 12-3 p.m., at the Elks Lodge, 351 E. Rose, Walla Walla. All are invited to attend.
