SPOKANE - Walla Walla Community College's Dona Dunovant followed her opening-round 76 at Coeur d'Alene Municipal Sunday with a 76 on the Liberty Lakes course Monday to with the Bigfoot Invitational.
"Once again Dona finds herself atop the leaderboard," WWCC coach Mike Rostollan said. "Two 76s are fine rounds, under the circumstances."
The Warrior men also turned in three top-10 finishes, with Josh Scothorne finishing 74-75-149 to tie for fifth place.
Skagit Valley's Jeff Neely shot a 4-under 69-69-138 to earn men's medalist. Spokane's Alex Pounds was second at 73-68-141.
Other counting scores for WWCC were Cory Spencer (76-75-151) and Ash Miles (77-74-151) tied for ninth, and Sean Pedersen turned in a 77-78-155.
Drew Morgan carded a 79-79-158, and Mike Ervin a 78-81-159.
"Three men in the top 10, those are solid performances," Rostollan said. "If we can our lower half of the order to post a good score (it would help). If our 4-6 men could step up a little bit, and they might. They just might all of a sudden surprise me."
Men's team scores were Skagit Valley 295-294-589; Spokane 303-294-597; North Idaho 297-301-598; WWCC 304-302-606; Columbia Basin 311-300-611; Olympic 316-304-620; Green River 315-310-625; Southwestern Oregon 305-325-630.
On the women's side, Dunovant was followed by Spokane's Alexa Bell was second at 77-79-156.
For the Warriors, Jordan Simkins finished 99-96-195, and Jaime Robison was 100-102-202.

The Warriors next head to Skagit Valley's Cardinal Classic at Avalon Golf Course Sunday and Monday.
