WALLA WALLA - Wa-Hi post player Gabby Anderson has committed to play women's basketball at WWCC next year.

Anderson verbally committed to the Warriors after practicing with the team this spring.

"We are excited to have a commitment from Gabby. She is a talented post player and a top-notch student," said WWCC head coach Bobbi Hazeltine.

She averaged 11 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Blue Devils in her high school career and was selected second-team Columbia Basin Big Nine. She was also team MVP and a captain.

"Gabby had a solid year this season at Wa-Hi, and we hope she can come in and make an impact for us next season, Hazeltine said. "She came in and played with our kids this spring, and we were very impressed. She fit in well."
