  • Codi M. Powers, 16, 21 E. Walnut St., was sentenced April 22 on one count minor in possession and or consuming liquor. The sentence included five days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On April 8, Powers pleaded guilty to consuming alcohol while under age 21 on Jan. 7.
  • Olivia Escobedo, 17, 1617 Portland Ave., was sentenced April 22 on one count contempt-truancy. The sentence included 30 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, credit for 30 days served, six months community supervision, 104 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On April 8, Escobedo pleaded guilty to intentionally disobeying a lawful court order requiring a student to attend school, between Nov. 3-17.
