MILTON-FREEWATER - Oregon's No. 1 4A team and GOL leader Baker came to town and beat up on Mc-Hi in a baseball doubleheader here Saturday.
The Pioneers stuck with Baker until the top of the sixth in game one, eventually ceding 11-2, and lost the second game, 13-2, in five innings.

Jake Morris had four hits for Mac-Hi and led the 16-hit offensive attack. But the Pioneers were only able to score four runs.
"I was happy with how we played," said Mac-Hi coach Mike Garcia. "I have nothing negative to say about how we played. We knew we were up against a great team, that could hit, was well-disciplined and well-coached.
"If we play this well at home next weekend in the GOL, then we'll sweep."
The Pioneers host Riverside at 3 p.m. Monday before the league twinbill next weekend with La Grande.
