Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

2200 block East Isaacs Ave. Mountain bike stolen.

Columbia REA, 115 E. Rees Ave. Saturday. Gate locks cut, entry made. Trucks gone though, shed broken into. What was stolen being determined.

700 block Carrie Ave. Digital cameras, Playstation, Nintendo DS and games stolen.

300 block South Fourth Avenue. Two vehicles prowled. Prescription glasses and cell phone chargers stolen.

WW County Sheriff

500 block Edith Street, Burbank. Fuel stolen from vehicles at residence.

CP Police

800 block Southeast 12th Street. Residence entered by cutting screen on a window. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

1000 block Southeast Birch Street. Bicycle taken from front porch during the night.

Umatilla County Sheriff

West Crockett Road. Sunday. Parts stolen off a truck and a bicycle stolen.

Columbia County Sheriff

State Route 261, Milepost 13, Starbuck. Burglary, non-residential, reported.

500 block West Main St., Dayton. Property theft reported.

300 block East Main Street, Dayton. Trailer hitch stolen.

Collsions

WW Police

Dell Avenue and Myra Road, 12:35 a.m. Sunday. Driver swerved to avoid deer in street and stuck highway sign. Robert S. Vega, 36, 1403 Drumheller St., No. A., reported head pain and was taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

100 block West Chestnut Street. 6:17 p.m. Wednesday. A vehicle stopped for pedestrian was rear-ended. No injury reported.

Columbia County Sheriff

Eckler Mountain Road, past the snow park. 6:13 a.m. Saturday. Non-injury accident.

Antonio Birrueta Jr. 442 S.W. Eighth St. College Place. Saturday. Charge: investigation of first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, third-degree theft.

Mva, 00:35, Dell Avenue and Myra Road, 12:35 a.m. Sunday. Single-vehicle accident. One man transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

Hobson Street and Wilbur Avenue. 7:21 a.m. Sunday. Motor vehicle accident, no injury.

12th Avenue and Poplar Street. 6:48 p.m. Sunday. Motor vehicle accident. One female involved, no injury.

3714 Mill Creek Road. 4:49 p.m.. Sunday. Small burn pile spread to grass.

Short road, Touchet. 2:25 Saturday. Assist District 6 with field, grain fire.

Seven-Mile Road. 11:43 a.m. Friday. Controlled burn went out of control, 2 acres, trees, and 200-300 tires burned.

Southeast 11th Avenue, 1 p.m., Saturday. A small controlled burn went out of control, no threat to any structures.
