Thefts, Burglaries


WW Police

200 block South First Avenue. Unlocked vehicle prowled, GPS unit, fire safe and tool kit stolen.

Umatilla County Sheriff

East Wallace Street, Weston. School broken into and trashed. Many items broken and missing. The shop was also broken into and all the yellow paint was stolen.



Collsions


WW Police

U.S. Highway 12 and Wilbur Avenue, 3:21 a.m. Driver lost control turning on to Highway, skidded and went off the roadway. No injuries reported.

Washington State Patrol

U.S. Highway 12 and Humorist Road. 4:28 p.m. Monday. A pickup truck yielded for an emergency vehicle and was rear-ended by the semi-truck behind it. Driver Paul D. Halsey, 66, Kennewick, taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

MF Police

400 block North Columbia Street. Saturday. Vehicle parked in lot was hit by unknown vehicle.

City streets, reported 9:15 a.m. Monday. Vehicle hit sometime in the night.



Arrests


WW County Sheriff

Amber Ann Champagne-Wright, 49, 183 Snake River Drive, Burbank. Monday. Charge: investigation of driving under the influence.



Fire, Ambulance runs


WW Fire Dept.

808 Main St., 6:07 a.m. Monday. A smoldering fire in back yard from bonfire from night before was extinguished.

WW Ambulance

12:51, Fourth Avenue and Cherry Street. 12:51 p.m. Monday. Motor vehicle accident, one woman was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

Malcolm Street and Ninth Avenue. 4:24 p.m. Monday. Motor vehicle accident. No body was transported.



Vandalism


WW County Sheriff

300 block Burdett Way, Wallula. Windows on a front loader and excavator broken. Damages estimated at $2,000.

Umatilla County Sheriff

South Water Street, Weston. Yellow spray paint on vehicles reported at two residences.

East Bruce Street, Weston. Yellow spray paint reported on two vehicles.

East Mill and South Broad streets, Weston. Graffiti on stop sign.

South Broad Street, Weston. Windows shot out.

East Wallace Street, Weston. Graffiti.

South Broad Street, Weston. Yellow spray paint on cars. There were seven complaints filed for this street.

Williamson Road, Weston. Criminal mischief reported. No further information.

South Washington Street, Weston. Criminal mischief reported. No further information.

East Currant Street, Athena. A large plant was stripped of leaves.
