Depot Benefit Auction set for Saturday in Dayton

DAYTON -- Vacation and weekend packages, jewelry, art work, wine, Cougar football tickets, and much more will be offered to the highest bidder Saturday for the Evening at the Depot Benefit Auction.

Admission is free with complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Beverages, including Dumas Station wines and Skye Book and Brew beer will be available for purchase. Only those 21 and older will be admitted to the event.

The auction will be in the Dayton Depot courtyard, beginning at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the auction go to support the Depot museum. The Depot, at 222 E. Commercial St., is the oldest surviving train depot in Washington. The restored 1881 building is designed in the Stick/Eastlake style. The building is listed on the local, state and national registers of historic places.
