Thefts, Burglaries

WW Police

700 block West Rose Street. Donation box with an unknown amount of cash stolen from counter.

200 block East Rose Street. Vehicle entered. A backpack, MP3 player, tobacco and prescription medication taken.

MF Police

300 block Cowl Street. House entered, money taken.

Aquatic Center. Concession stand entered. Garbage sacks and candy taken.

Umatilla County Sheriff

Couse Creek Road, Milton-Freewater. Garage broken into, and estimated $4,000 to $5,000 worth of tools stolen.


WW County Sheriff

Highway 730 and Western Farmer Road. 10 a.m. Monday. A towed trailer struck a truck as it waited to unload wheat, then left the scene. No injuries reported.

CP Police

00 block North College Avenue. 7:05 a.m. Tuesday. Rear-end collision. No injuries reported.

MF Police

400 block South Main Street. 2:34 p.m. Tuesday. Vehicle was back into by a truck that left the scene.


WW County Sheriff

Robert S. Horton, 43, 541 Harrison Road, Burbank. Monday. Charge: investigation of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act-possession of paraphernalia.

CP Police

Thomas Lee Dishion, 61, 3907 Alpine, No. 27., Boise. Monday. Charge: investigation of violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act-manufacturing and or delivery of amphetamine and or methamphetamine.

Fire, Ambulance runs

WW Ambulance

N. College Ave. and N.E. A St. 7:06 a.m. Tuesday. Motor vehicle crash, cancelled en route by College Place before arrival.

WW Fire Dist. 4

Powerline Road, 1:28 p.m. Tuesday. Smoke investigation. It was a legal burn but had not been called in.

Dozer crew called back to the Vansycle Canyon fire.

M-F Fire Dept.

311 N. Elizabeth St. 9 a.m. Tuesday. Small fire in apartment, confined to room. No injuries. Fire is under investigation.

East Umatilla Rural Fire

Highway 11 milepost 14, 3:14 p.m. Tuesday. Field fire.


WW County Sheriff

00 block Russet Road, Monday. A vehicle was struck with an object. The windshield was cracked and the side mirror and window broken.

Juvenile Justice Center, 455 W. Rose St. Overhead sprinkler was tampered with and a cell flooded.

Umatilla County Sheriff

East Wallace Street, Weston. Field at Weston Middle School damaged by being driven on.

East Main Street, Weston. Three men witnessed kicking something around, then glass shattering was heard and the men ran off.

East Wallace Street, Weston. Two windows broken and door found open at middle school.
