United Way receives grant for food, shelter programs

WALLA WALLA -- United Way of Walla Walla County has been awarded $22,388 from Federal Emergency Management Administration. The money will go to area emergency food and shelter programs, according to Executive Director Liz McDevitt.

Funds will be administered through existing local public and non-profit organizations.
