200 block Adair Road, Burbank. Aug. 9. Four vehicles prowled, change taken.
Umatilla County Sheriff
East College Street, Athena. Saturday. House apparently broken into, bed frame broken and computer used, nothing appeared to have been taken.
Columbia County Sheriff
400 block South Fourth Street, Dayton. Residential burglary.

Assaults
WW Police
100 block South Ninth Avenue. 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Man alleges he was assaulted by another man behind a store.
Wilbur Avenue and Alder Street, 3:40 p.m. Saturday. A man alleges he was assaulted by three men he knew as he was walking. Witnesses stated there was a verbal exchange and it appeared one of the assailants was holding something in his hand. Friends of the man arrived at the scene at the same time officers arrived. Four were arrested for investigation of disorderly conduct.

1000 block North Main Street. Purse stolen from unlocked vehicle.

1100 block West Pine Street. Saturday. An unattended vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle.
WW County Sheriff
Harvey Shaw Road, three miles from Cochran. 4:33 a.m. Today. Driver swerved to miss deer in road and lost control, striking an embankment. Driver and passenger reported minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
Grain Terminal Road at U.S. Highway 12, Burbank. 12:43 a.m. Sunday. A driver struck a horse trailer being towed and drove away without leaving identification. There were no injuries.
100 block West Second Street, Waitsburg. 6:29 p.m. Saturday. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that sped off. The driver, Jason D. Vories, was later arrested.

100 block Northeast 14th Avenue. 12:08 p.m. Saturday. Hit-and-run collision, parked car.

U.S. Highway 12 at milepost 310. 6:32 p.m. Sunday. Fatal motorcycle crash.

U.S. Highway 12 at milepost 310.1. 6:25 p.m. Sunday. Motorcyclist lost control, laying the motorcycle down. Kyle E. Caldwell, 44, Eatonville, Wash. died at the scene.

100 block Road Runner Lane. Eggs, applesauce cups and yogurt thrown on front porch, garage and a window.
CP Police
200 block Southeast Scenic View Drive. Friday. Egg thrown against front door sometime during the night.
400 block Southeast Stanford Place. Saturday. Lug nuts loosened on all wheels of two vehicles parked in front of a residence.
