WALLA WALLA - Two College Place men were struck by a truck while riding their bicycles Friday.

According to a Walla Walla County Sheriff's report, Geoffrey M. Stuart, 25 35, of 822 S.E. Vintage Way and Jonathan A. Stuart, 23, of 104 N. College Ave., were westbound on Frog Hollow Road at around 6:50 p.m. when they were struck by Talon Scott Wiser, 36, of Benton City, who was also westbound.

Wiser, who was driving a 2007 Ford F-550 truck, said he did not see the two bicyclists because of the setting sun.

According to the report, Wiser said he heard the noise and looked back to see the bikes on the road, then turned around and went back to the scene.

The bicyclists were transported to Walla Walla General Hospital, where they were treated and released for abrasions.
