WWU to host visitors for Seventh-day Adventist conference

COLLEGE PLACE -- Walla Walla University will host more than 1,000 visitors to the Walla Walla Valley from Sept. 7-11.

The North Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is holding a Leadership Conference and Constituency Session on the university campus, which will draw 400-500 Adventist ministers and their families to the valley.

The NPUC is the Northwest regional headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist church, and covers Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. This includes more than 90,000 members, 400 churches and 140 elementary and secondary schools.
