St. Patrick Catholic Church sets breakfast, fair trade goods sale

WALLA WALLA - A breakfast and sale of fair trade goods will be from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today in the hall at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, 415 W. Alder St. Fair trade chocolate, tea, weavings from Guatemala and handicrafts from South America and elsewhere will be sold. Breakfast is $6 per adult, $3 per child and $20 per family. Proceeds benefit the local food bank and projects for the indigenous people of Solola, Guatemala. Call Claire Valente, 509-529-1768 for information.

WWU presents ‘Eternal Purposes' Christmas concert

COLLEGE PLACE - Walla Walla University department of music presents the annual Christmas concert, "Eternal Purposes," at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, at the University Church, 212 S.W. Fourth St.

Village Church to host Christmas concert entitled ‘Joy'

Milton SDA to hold ‘Journey to Bethlehem' Dec. 10-11

MILTON-FREEWATER - Milton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1244 N. Elizabeth St. holds "Journey to Bethlehem," 6-8 p.m., Dec. 10-11. The outdoor event is open to all to explore Bethlehem as it was the night Jesus was born.

Christian Women's Connection luncheon planned for Dec. 14

DAYTON - The Christian Women's Connection luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Seneca Activity Center in Dayton. It will be catered by the CWC Committee. Cost is $10.

The luncheon's theme is "Christmas Reflections."

The handbell choire, led by Ben Gish and the Praise Ringers from Walla Walla Valley Academy will perform.

An inspirational message will be given.

If you have a favorite short Christmas poem or card saying that means something special to you, bring a copy of it to share with those at your table.

Liberty Christian School's Christmas program is Dec. 15

WALLA WALLA - Liberty Christian School, 3172 Peppers Bridge Road, will have it's annual Christmas program at 7 p.m. Dec. 15.

All students from first to eighth grade will participate in a play entitled "The One and Only Original Christmas Factory." Preschoolers and Kindergarteners will sing a couple of songs and recite a poem apart from the play.

Admission is free. Doors open at 6 p.m.
