WWVA defeats Upper Columbia

WALLA WALLA - Emily Field led the Walla Walla Valley Academy girls basketball team to a 35-27 victory over Upper Columbia Academy Saturday Night. Field scored 11 points and had nine rebounds.

Kristi Buell was close behind Field with nine points and nine rebounds. WWVA was behind in the first half by two points, recovered some in the third quarter and then stepped up their defense and only allowed UCA to score 3 points in the fourth quarter while WWVA scored 12, giving them the lead and the victory.

WWVA plays Nixyaawiia on Tuesday at WWU.
