Great Falls rolls over Walla Walla University, 67-35

COLLEGE PLACE - Visiting Great Falls followed Khayla Gladney's 14 points to a 67-35 women's basketball victory over Walla Walla University here Monday night.

Jaci Shankel led the Wolves' effort with eight points, with Nicole Beeks scoring seven and Johanna Uribe and Sarah Fitch six apiece.

Mary Wilmore, Lindsey Abramson and Kezia Ford all scored 11 points for the Argos.

Great Falls led 34-19, and extended its lead in the second half.

The Wolves don't play again until they host Warner Pacific at 2 p.m. Dec. 16.

Pomeroy boys fall to Dayton

Saturday night after late rally

POMEROY - Pomeroy battled back from an 11-point halftime deficit to tie Dayton here Saturday night and force overtime, but ultimately the Bulldogs pulled out the 79-67 victory.

Dayton shot 46 free throws, making 22 of them, to Pomeroy's 6-of-15 showing.

The Bulldogs were led by Kroft Sunderland's 21 points, as Garrett Turner scored 19 and Joey Schlachter put up 16 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.

Pomeroy was led by Riley Bott's 16 points, with Cody Lamunyan putting u 12, Mitch Ruchert 11 and Matt FitzGerald 10.

Pomeroy hosts Asotin at 7:30 p.m. tonight, while Dayton hosts River View at the same time.
