WALLA WALLA -- Friends of Pioneer Park Aviary will flock together at Land Title Plaza Saturday and Dec. 17 to continue fundraising efforts for the Aviary.
Volunteers have raised more than $87,000 for the facility, which faces an uncertain future in city funding.
In an effort to help the aviary become more self-sustaining, the group is offering an "Adopt-A-Bird" program. Information will be available beginning at 10 a.m. both Saturdays.
The group hopes to collect the remaining $23,000 it needs in the near future.
