WALLA WALLA -- Street Division crews have finished the second round of loose leaf collection in Tuesday to Friday's garbage collection areas as of today and moved into Monday's area. When that work is done, crews will make a final pass around the city.
As a general rule:
Place loose leaves in the street along the curb near the gutter. Don't block stormwater grates.
Separate loose leaves and brush. The city no longer collects brush.
Park vehicles at least 10 feet away from piles.
Do not rake the leaves out in the driving lanes.
For the most current location of the crews, tune into cable television Channel 17 or go to www.ci.walla-walla.wa.us.
For more information, call the Street Division at 527-4363.
