Reich's 20 points not enough to lead W-M over Riverside

BOARDMAN, Ore. - Weston-McEwen's Dallas Reich gave it his all here Saturday night.

Reich scored a game-high 20 points for the TigerScots, but it was not enough as the Pirates rolled to a 61-36 victory.

"Riverside is the biggest team we will play" Weston-McEwen coach Brian Pickard said. "They have starters that are 6-foot-8, 6-6 and 6-6.

"We were outworked and outmuscled during the second half," Pickard said.

Riverside was down by two points in the second quarter with two minutes left on the clock but pulled away, finishing 25-20 at the half.

During the fourth quarter, Riverside held Weston-McEwen to only five points.

Riverside outrebounded W-M 32-22.
