Slow start leads to W-P boys loss to Riverside.

BOARDMAN, Ore. - A slow start didn't help Waitsburg-Prescott's cause in Riverside, Ore., Tuesday night, as the boys fell to Riverside 77-52.

Riverside took a 15-4 lead in the first quarter before W-P regrouped to score 23 in the second. Riverside matched W-P's 23 however, and the Pirates took a 38-27 lead into the half, one that W-P never managed to overtake.

Zach Bartlow led W-P with 19 points on the night.

W-P travels to Dayton to take on the Bulldogs Friday night at 7:30.
