Pomeroy uses long ball to down LaCrosse-Washtucna

LACROSSE - The Pirates bombed away from downtown, hitting seven 3-pointers and accounting for 21-of-69 points from behind the arc Friday night versus LaCrosse-Washtucna.

Pomeroy won the game 69-60 over its opponent. Mitch Ruchert had 27 points, while three other Pirate players scored in double figures. Tanner Feider and Cody Lamunyan had ten points apiece while Riley Bott had 12.

Pomeroy shot only 50 percent from the free-throw line (10-of-20) to keep the game close. All four quarters were hotly contested periods while the Pirates used a 19-12 run in the final period to win by nine points. Pomeroy was only ahead by two points going into the fourth quarter.
