Umatilla County Search and Rescue teams located four teens today who had gone missing overnight in the Umatilla National Forest.

Nick Walsh and Brad Nelson, both 18, left Walla Walla Sunday and planned to be home by 6 p.m., according to a parent who reported the pair missing at 9:24 p.m. on Sunday, officials said.

Search and Rescue personnel reported finding the teens near Tiger Mountain and Government Mountain Roads in Umatilla County at roughly 10:50 a.m. today.

"That is a very remote area," said Umatilla County Undersheriff Terry Rowan.

In addition to Walsh and Nelson, rescuers found Devin Desalvo, 19, and Michael Schumacker, 18, who had apparently met with the other teens in the remote location, Rowan said. None of the teens appeared to be harmed in any way by the ordeal, Rowan said.

"I think they were dressed for the weather, but they didn't have provisions," Rowan said, adding the teens were "probably a little scared from having to spend the night on the mountain."
