  • Juan Marcos Esquivel, 16, 516 Whitman St. was sentenced Dec. 16 on one count minor in possession and or consuming liquor. The sentence included five days in the Juvenile Justice Center, six months community supervision, 20 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Dec. 2 Esquivel pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing, consuming or otherwise acquiring liquor while under age 21 on Sept. 17.

  • Dakota Phillips, 15, 302 Newell St. was sentenced Dec. 16 on one count violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act-possession of less than 40 grams marijuana. The sentence included 10 days in the Juvenile Justice Center, nine months community supervision, 25 hours community service, $100 to crime victims compensation fund, $110 in court costs. On Dec. 2 Phillips pleaded guilty to unlawfully possessing less than 40 grams marijuana.
